So here we have it... the first Full Moon of 2012 which is in the sign of Cancer and Cancerians as we all know are governed by the moon, which links in with the water energies and emotions.

I must say i've found the energies in the past week, leading into this full moon to be very powerful and extremely releasing, so it seems a lot of things have been happening behind the scenes, which can only be a good thing

January – The Wolf Moon

This moon, also known as the Cold Moon, is a time of silence and introspection. As the winter howls, spend some time inside, with the home and family, in appreciation of the warmth and love. As you spend this time within, this is a time for protection, as you make sure that you and your family are safe in your den.

Moon in Cancer

This is the best time to work magic for home and domestic life and also any nurturing activities.  Healing rituals for ailments of the chest or stomach should be carried out during this period of time.
