They could be seeds of understanding, seeds of courage or seeds of tolerance. After you have planted your new venture, now have faith that all will be well. Spring is now present, and if those bulbs managed to make it through the treacherous cold and bloom, then so can you!

The moon in the sign of Libra makes this a great time for working with matters that concern our creativity, balance, legal matters, unions, partnerships, mental stimulation and emotinal balance

A great time for us all to release this month as we experience the energy of this Virgo Full Moon.

March – The Chaste Moon

The Chaste Moon holds the power of purity and innocence. This moon communicates with the child within us. It’s a reminder of a time when life was simple, and everything imaginable seemed possible. Remember the child of yesterday, and perhaps do something that you haven’t done in ages. When you carelessly allow yourself to laugh out loud like a child, stop and recognize just how much better you feel for doing it.

Full Moon in Virgo

An excellent time for natural magic and spells that utilise or coincide with the appropriate astrological influence, so with this month being in Virgo, you can utilise that element in your ceremony/meditation ie crystals, earth, stones, flowers etc

At this time magic worked for questions involving employment, intellectual matters, health and dietary concerns is much enhanced.

Moon In Leo

Courage, fertility and childbirth are all ruled by Leo as is power over others, so this is the best time to work such magic.

Healing rituals for probelms of the upper back , spine or heart seem to have some success during this period of time.

So here we have it... the first Full Moon of 2012 which is in the sign of Cancer and Cancerians as we all know are governed by the moon, which links in with the water energies and emotions.

I must say i've found the energies in the past week, leading into this full moon to be very powerful and extremely releasing, so it seems a lot of things have been happening behind the scenes, which can only be a good thing

January – The Wolf Moon

This moon, also known as the Cold Moon, is a time of silence and introspection. As the winter howls, spend some time inside, with the home and family, in appreciation of the warmth and love. As you spend this time within, this is a time for protection, as you make sure that you and your family are safe in your den.

Moon in Cancer

This is the best time to work magic for home and domestic life and also any nurturing activities.  Healing rituals for ailments of the chest or stomach should be carried out during this period of time.

Well this is certainly something to make a meal out of today my friends.... It is our final full moon of 2011 and it just so happens that this is going to be an extra special one, with it being the last Full Lunar Eclipse we shall experience until April 2014.

Ok you might be wondering what exactly all the fuss is about here... but the magic of the lunar eclipse, is that within the time frame which on this occasion is approx 3hrs, but in general the energies of that day mean that the moon experiences all three of her phases, those phases being the Maiden, Mother and Crone or Waxing, Waning and Full. So naturally we can utilise and work with the energies of all three. So you are looking at the energies of:

• New Beginnings/Moving Forward/Clearing the path ahead
• Letting Go/Banishing/Releasing
• Illumination/Throwing light on what rests in the shadow
• Change 

The fact that the number 3 also comes into play here shows us the power behind the number 3 and some of you will already know that 3 is the number of manifestation, so you now kind of have an idea of just how powerful the energy of today is.

I also feel that this is increased significantly when you consider the time of year too and how it is approaching Yule and Winter Solstice and this is naturally a time when we start to think of our new beginnings and all what has been, gone and accomplished in the year passed. So a great deal of relfective energy here as you can see and a time to enjoy the harvest too!

In addititon to all of the above there is also the usual aspects to consider.

December – Oak Moon

Also known as the Cold or Long Night Moon, the Oak Moon is the time of year to complete something you have worked hard on, and to make sure that the task is truly completed. In addition, reflect on what you did during the year and to evaluate your accomplishments.

Moon in Gemini

This is a good time for anything to do with communication, including writing, emails, public relations, moving house, office or travel. 

For healing ailments of the shoulder, arms, hands or lungs also respond well to healing rituals done during this period of time.

This is such an exciting time energetically right now. We have tonights wonderful full moon and also the energies of the 11.11.11 coming in too.

Many of you may have noticed how the energies have been building of late. You may have experienced vibrational flu symptoms, changes in your diet or eating habits, sleep patterns maybe affected too and the energies in general day to day certainly show signs of shifts occurring. There has also been a wonderful sense of harmony and peace I find, as well as everything seeming perfectly in tune and rhythmic, a wonderful time indeed!  

The full moon as you know is an excellent time for cleansing and releasing, as well as utilising the wonderful energy to manifest. So below is the usual information that may assist you, should you wish to partake.

November – Snow Moon

At this time of the year, all of nature is getting ready for winter, and you will subconsciously begin to do so as well. Remind yourself that although winter is coming, bringing darker nights and a feeling of entrapment, it will not last forever. Do what you can to reduce your stress and to strengthen your bonds with family and friends as you spend more time indoors.

Moon in Taurus

Natural magic for love, security, possessions and money are enhanced now at this time. Healing rituals for illnesses of the throat, neck and ears could also be undertaken and enhanced at this time.

Full moon blessings to you all!

The moon as some of you may or may not know if linked and connected with the Goddess, having 28 day cycles and demonstrating the 3 stages of the Goddess each month with the Maiden, Mother and Crone. Each one unique and beautiful in its own right and all worthy of celebration. The Goddess blesses our lives in numerous ways, making the full moon an excellent time to honour her and also tune into the natural magical energies available to us all at this time.

The full moon each month is significant and symbolic for various reasons each month but traditionally each Full Moon presents a time and opportunity for natural magic and intentions that transform, increase psychic ability, for fertility spells and invocation to lunar goddesses. This is a time of strength, love and power.

Once again the moon at this time represents the Goddess in her Mother aspect, give praise to Cerridwen, Isis or one of the other Mother Goddesses. The period of the Full Moon lasts from about 3 days before to 3 days after the actual full moon.

October – Blood Moon

The night of the Blood Moon is a great time for divination of any kind. This is the time to use your psychic ability, which we all have on some level. Take this time to practice trying new skills, and surround yourself with mentors and guides that will bring insight on your path.

Moon in Aries

Natural magic involving anything to do with authority, leadership, rebirth, moving on or spiritual conversion should achieve success at this time.

Healing rituals for ailments of the face, head or brain are also best performed at this time.

Cleansing

I always find the Full Moon the best time for cleansing rituals or letting go. Be it an energetic clearing of yourself, your home,  old beliefs or old ways. This is also an excellent time for cleansing your spiritual tools and crystals.

Full Moon is always a magical time with heightened energies, you may notice increased dreams and psychic abilities at this time.

Each months full moon is significant and has its own rituals and associations. It is as old as time itself the tradition of utilising the moons energy to manifest change and growth in your life. The magic can be as simple or as complex as you like. It could be a case of you just lighting a candle and mediating on what you wish to manifest or release. I think the "KISS" rule applies to this ha Keep It Simple Stupid. Full moon magic is all about harnessing the natural energy and setting a clear intent and intention and thought is the key to the universe, so with this in mind, many things are possible. Below are a few things to keep in mind if you wish to create some magic yourself tonight.

The July Full Moon is known as Mead Moon. A time of strength, power and full action. Recognise the earth's fertility as the rewards of the farmers long days of labour which are now visible with the ripening of all the fields. 

New Antlers appear on the foreheads of bucks, as they push through the new coating of velvety fur.

Well today is the last day of February and it is a case of better late than never, with regard to this blog! 

So have you all delighted in the loving vibes of February? As we all know the 14th February has been hijacked and exploited commercially in the modern age, but perhaps this is not necessarily a bad thing. For those who struggle to express their love freely, I guess this day is a perfect opportunity for them to do so without feeling too self conscious about the act of love!

In Rome in years gone by, the 14th February was a festival of Lupercalia and brought forth an opportunity to celebrate the Goddess of Love ~ Venus. The themes associated with this were love, passion, romance and sexuality, so no surprises there on that front! 

Lupercalia is an ancient predecessor of Valentine's Day and single girls put their names in a box and unmarried men drew lots to see with whom they would be paired off with for the coming year. I have recently heard of similar traditions still being honoured in this day and age too.

I guess it is a shame to some degree that we need a day and a month to remind us of love, as we should be expressing our freely and easily to those whom we care for... as they say, a little bit of love goes a long way!

Love has no boundaries or ideals, it is a pure intention and one of our highest vibrations. When we love we do so in truth and with the purest of intentions and ideals. Sometime we love and lose, which makes us hurt and some of us feel bitter, but then the saying 'It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all' rings very true in my ears. 

I personally feel there are many forms and levels of love and with that love comes understanding, it grows deeper if we let it. In society we are too quick to notice and highlight the difference in others rather than remembering how we are all alike, in the way that we all need to give and receive love in equal measure in order for us to survive and it is true, we are often at our best when we are receiving the love, care and attention we need from someone we love in equal measure.

So keep spreading the love, to friends, foes, family & lovers...
